Steps
1
Gather all of the items on the list. You can replace the salt with sugar, but you can't substitute any of the other items. Make sure you have each and every one of them.
2
Rub olive oil onto the area of skin. Pour a generous amount of olive oil onto the area and rub it in well. Cover the entire area, and rub in with massaging, circular movements. Don't be too hasty with this step, as it's essential.
3
Exfoliate with the salt. Pour a healthy amount of salt onto the area and scrub the area thoroughly. Don't be rough, as you may hurt your skin, but don't be afraid to really scrub, either. This is essential, as it will remove dead skin and help it become extra soft.
4
Leave it in for 10 minutes, and if you want to, keep scrubbing the salt in every now and then. Try to be patient with this step, because if you don't leave it in for ten minutes, your skin's not going to come out too soft.
5
Wash the mixture off, preferably with lukewarm water. Don't wash with soap or a cleanser-- you want to leave some olive oil in to keep your skin really soft.
6
Moisturise. Get a generous amount of moisturiser and rub it into the area. Make sure you actually rub it in-- otherwise it's not going to have the maximum effect.
Tips
- If you have longer than 20 minutes, you may want to leave the mixture on for a longer time.
- Moisturising everyday will help you achieve soft, healthy skin.
- Water is also good for skin-- it'll give you that healthy glow.
- If you have sensitive skin, you may want to skip the exfoliating part and just do the olive oil. The grittiness of the salt may irritate your skin and give you a rash.
- If you're bored while waiting, try reading a book/magazine, watching TV, or talking to a friend.
Warnings
- Sensitive skin may come out in rashes with the exfoliating, so it's best to skip that step.
- Make sure you're not allergic to any of the items, as this will give you a rash or some other type of nasty reaction instead of soft skin.
Things You'll Need
- Olive Oil
- Salt is completely fine it works as a good exfoliator but sugar is completely fine as well
- Moisturiser (Coca Butter)
- Drinking water
